Case Study – Harriet, 2½

Harriet’s parents both work in education and Harriet has a big sister who attends a local primary school. Driving past the Brinsbury campus every day and conducting lots of research into local childcare that suited their specific requirements is what led Harriet’s parents to choosing First Steps.

“My working hours and a house move meant I was looking for a childcare provider that offered a longer day closer to home. First Steps were incredibly friendly, supportive and helpful from the outset at what was a very stressful time for us!” Emma, Harriet’s mother said.

Harriet is quite a shy little girl and can be anxious meeting new people so it was important she felt comfortable and supported by our team. From struggling to settle in her early days, Harriet now skips in for every session excited about what activity she will be doing that day.

For Emma, knowing that she is well cared for, safe and happy is a huge weight off her mind as a working mum – something everyone at First Steps strives to do.
